Lancaster gunshot victim airlifted, police seek woman who fled scene
Lancaster police are searching for a woman who fled after allegedly shooting a man in the torso Monday morning.
The shooting happened just after 9 a.m. at a home on Plyler Street, according to Capt. Scott Grant, a spokesman for the Lancaster Police Department. The male victim was shot once in the upper torso and airlifted to a hospital.
The victim told officers he got into an argument with a woman who lived in the home, during which she shot him, Grant said. It’s not clear if the two were romantically involved.
Grant said the female suspect fled in the victim’s truck. Police are still searching for her.
