Pair arrested after shots fired into east Charlotte home
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police quickly arrested two men Tuesday night after shots were fired into a home with people inside in the 9500 block of Currier Road in east Charlotte. No one was injured.
Police charged Omar Anthony, 20, and Larry Thomas Jr., 19, with discharging a weapon into an occupied dwelling, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and discharging a weapon in the city limits. Each is free on $15,000 bail.
Officers arrested the pair after learning they were possibly in a home on nearby Rothman Lane. Police said they seized two weapons as evidence.
