Authorities search for men who used stolen Belk credit card in Lincolnton
Lincoln County sheriff’s detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying two men who made several purchases at the Belk store in Lincolnton with a stolen Belk credit card.
The card was stolen from a home in the 3200 block of Paul Elmore Road on Thursday. A camera also was stolen, sheriff’s investigators said.
Shortly after the break-in, the victim told officers he received a call from Belk’s fraud department saying the card had been used at the store. Store video surveillance shows two men using the card.
Anyone with information about the identities of the men is asked to call the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office at 704-732-9050 or Crime Stoppers at 704-736-8909.
