Cocaine found in passenger’s wireless mouse at Charlotte airport
Federal agents found a small bag of cocaine concealed in the battery compartment of a passenger’s wireless mouse at Charlotte Douglas International Airport this month.
The Transportation Security Administration announced the seizure on its weekly blog. It was unknown Thursday whether anyone was arrested.
The cocaine was seized sometime between Feb. 5 and 11.
That same week, agents reported seizing two loaded handguns from the carry-on bags of passengers at the airport.
Passengers can face fines up to $11,000 for having a gun in their carry-ons.
