Two people shot in the head in east Charlotte

Two people were shot and taken to the hospital with serious injuries Saturday morning, according to Medic.

Police say the two were shot in the head on Carriage Drive Circle in east Charlotte. It appears that the two people were found near an apartment building.

The patients were taken to Carolinas Medical Center.

Police say they are still investigating and have released few details.
