Tow truck driver charged in south Charlotte shooting
A tow truck driver was arrested and charged in a south Charlotte shooting.
Police said Jarvis Simpson shot a vehicle owner about 8 a.m. Saturday in a parking lot. He is facing assault with a deadly weapon charges.
According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police, the vehicle was booted on Central Pacific Avenue in south Charlotte.
The vehicle owner was able to drive to Carolinas Medical Center-Pineville with minor injuries and is expected to be OK.
Police have not said what led up to the shooting.
