Police seek clues in fatal shooting in west Charlotte
A man died early Monday after being shot and taken to Carolinas Healthcare’s main hospital in Charlotte.
Police have not identified the victim and are looking for clues about what led to the shooting.
Officers were called to the 100 block of Park Fairfax Drive in west Charlotte at 2:43 a.m. to assist Medic but did not find anyone in need of help, according to a report from Charlotte-Mecklenburg police.
A short time later, officers were called to Carolinas Healthcare about a man who had been shot. The man did not survive the injury.
Investigators believe the call for help at Park Fairfax Drive is connected to the shooting
