Woman killed, children injured in Lincoln County crash

A woman was killed and several others, including the mother’s two children, were injured in a three-vehicle crash on N.C. 150 in Lincoln County Tuesday morning.

The wreck happened on N.C. 150 at Old Mill Road. Troopers said a red truck crossed the center line, sideswiped a white truck and hit a white minivan head-on.

The woman driving the van was killed. The driver of the red truck and the two children in the van were hospitalized.

The driver of the white truck was uninjured.

The State Highway Patrol has not released the name of the woman who died or those injured.
