Man with knife, screwdriver robs south Charlotte gas station

A south Charlotte convenience store was robbed early Monday morning.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say the robber, armed with a knife or screwdriver, went into the Kangaroo on Park Road at Woodlawn Road around 3:30 a.m. The robber got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

CMPD is reviewing surveillance video.

A description of the robber has not been released. No injuries were reported in the robbery.
