13 Iredell County drug suspects arrested in Friday roundup

Iredell County sheriff’s investigators arrested 13 drug suspects early Friday in a roundup called Operation No Fooling.

Sheriff Darren Campbell said his investigators continue to search for seven other suspects.

“All of the suspects targeted today sold drugs directly to undercover investigators with the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigation Unit or were in possession of drugs and have a significant criminal history,” Campbell said in a statement.

Most of the suspects have charges involving cocaine, crack, heroin, methamphetamine or prescription medications, the sheriff said.
