Man arrested in Savannah charged with kidnapping Myrtle Beach teen

Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police arrest a man in connection to a Myrtle Beach kidnapping.

Police apprehended Mike Roscoe Small, 27, of North Charleston, on charges of kidnapping across state lines and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

According to a press release from the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department, the victim was a 16-year-old female reported missing from Myrtle Beach since March 28.

The department was notified about 2 p.m. Saturday of Small’s location and a description of his vehicle.

Officers discovered the suspect’s car and Small led police on a pursuit. Police apprehended Small at about 2:40 p.m.

Small was taken to the Chatham County Detention Center to await extradition to Myrtle Beach.

Small also has warrants in Georgia and Texas, according to the press release.

No word yet on whether this case is related to Katelyn Mullinax, the Myrtle Beach teen reported missing and discovered safe on Saturday.
