Police find van that hit and killed motorcyclist in north Charlotte

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police have recovered the dark-green minivan that hit and killed a motorcyclist in north Charlotte on Monday.

Police said no one has been charged and asked anyone with information about the case to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600 or police at 704-432-2169.

Keith Anthony Ricks, 45, was riding a 2011 Harley-Davidson motorcycle southwest on Mallard Creek Road when the van struck him shortly after 5 p.m. Monday and then sped away, police said.
