Belmont police search for robber of Wells Fargo Bank

Belmont police are asking for the public’s help in identifying this man police said robbed Wells Fargo Bank in the 600 block of Park Street about 10:15 a.m. Saturday.

Belmont police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the man who robbed Wells Fargo Bank in the 600 block of Park Street at about 10:15 a.m. Saturday. No one was injured, police said.

The robber wore a dark-blue pea coat and sunglasses, and had a black Du-rag around his head with pink trim.

Anyone with information about the robber is asked to call police at 704-825-3792 or Gaston County Crime Stoppers at 704-861-8000.
