SC deputies identify 3 suspects involved in 52 Fort Mill car break-ins

Deputies have identified three suspects involved in 52 Fort Mill, S.C., car break-ins, the York County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday morning.

Deputies said they are getting warrants on those suspects, whose names have not been released.

Dozens of homes and cars were victimized in the Regent Park area of Fort Mill.

On Tuesday, deputies posted surveillance video capturing what appears to be a vehicle break in April 12.

And Tuesday morning, investigators sent out alerts on social media about multiple victims in neighborhoods around Regent Park.

According to the sheriff's office, 37 houses were also hit. Many of the cars broken into were left unlocked, according to investigators, and were rummaged through or had items stolen.

Deputies are asking potential victims to call 803-628-3056 and advised people not to touch or move anything in the car.
