Lincoln County sheriff’s investigators arrested two men on methamphetamine trafficking charges after executing a search warrant on a home in Iron Station Tuesday.
The home is in the 5000 block of Amity Lane. Investigators seized 3 ounces, or nearly 90 grams, of methamphetamine, along with drug paraphernalia, cash and a vehicle.
The drug is believed to have been distributed and sold in the Trinity Farms neighborhood and other areas of Lincoln County, the Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday.
Arrested on various drug counts were Richard Lee Knight, 40, formerly of Landis, Rowan County, and Cecil Brandon Hester, 33, of Iron Station. Knight was jailed on $100,000 bail.
Hester was served with an outstanding civil order for arrest for child support and taken to Mitchell County on $5,000 bail. He will be returned to Lincoln County later to face the meth charges.
