Pedestrian struck, killed on US 321 in Lenoir
U.S. 321 was closed after a pedestrian was struck and killed in Lenoir Thursday morning.
Lenoir police say the incident happened on U.S. 321 near Smith Cross Road. There are no charges so far.
Officers expect to have the highway reopened around 10 a.m.
We are working to gather more information surrounding how the pedestrian was hit.
No names have been released.
