A Cherryville woman is accused of selling methamphetamine outside Lincoln County convenience stores and other public places.
April Lynn Howell, 27, was arrested Monday on three felony counts each of sell and deliver methamphetamine and possession with intent to sell or deliver meth. She was in the Gaston County Jail on unrelated charges and received an additional $50,000 bail on the Lincoln County charges.
The investigation stretched over several months, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday.
“She had connections to Lincoln County and came here to do her business,” narcotics Lt. Jon Propst said. “Hopefully these charges will keep her out of this county from here going forward.”
