Cornelius police search for car break-in thieves
Cornelius police hope the public can help identify thieves who broke into cars at Bailey Road Park and stole valuables.
Windows on four vehicles were broken about 3:15 p.m. Saturday, police said. The thieves also are believed to have broken into cars in Huntersville the same day.
Anyone with information about the break-ins is asked to call North Mecklenburg Crime Stoppers at 704-896-7867 or the Cornelius Police Department at 704-892-7773. Crime Stoppers offers a reward up to $1,000 for information that leads to a conviction. Callers can remain anonymous.
