Arrest made in Chester McDonald’s pie fight
Authorities charged a woman in connection with a fight at a Chester McDonald’s that police say started with an argument over pies.
Joslyn Cecile Steed, 25, was charged with third-degree assault and battery, according to an arrest warrant. She was placed in the Chester County Detention Center, where she remained Friday.
Steed was one of two employees at the McDonald’s on J.A. Cochran Bypass who were “arguing over pies” Wednesday when the victim told Steed to leave and that she would cover her shift, deputies have said. The victim asked for police to be called when Steed refused to leave and threatened to harm the victim if she went to jail.
Steed approached the victim and hit her in the face, knocking off her glasses, deputies said. Other employees in the restaurant separated the two before police arrived.
