Lancaster police seek suspect in fatal shooting
A Lancaster, S.C., man is wanted in a fatal Saturday afternoon shooting. Lancaster police say he is armed and dangerous.
At 2:47 p.m. officers were called to the 1600 block of Palmetto Place Apartments, where they found someone with a serious gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to Spring Memorial Hospital and later airlifted to Carolinas Medical Center, where he died from his injuries. The victim has not yet been identified.
Rashad Demon Johnson, 28, is wanted in the fatal shooting, according to WBTV, the Observer’s news partner. He is described as being 6 feet 2 inches tall and about 188 pounds. Police say he lives on Pardue Street in Lancaster.
