A 4-year-old girl was injured in a drive-by shooting in Shelby Monday night.
Police said dozens of shots were fired into a home on Tom Street just after 11 p.m. One shot hit the girl on her left side, police said.
The girl was taken to Carolinas HealthCare System Cleveland and then to Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, where she was in stable condition.
The 4-year-old’s uncle said the shots “sounded like a war.”
