Man shot outside Salisbury homicide victim’s funeral
At least one person was shot Saturday night in Salisbury after a funeral for a man who was fatally shot about two weeks earlier.
The funeral for Larry Lamar Cruse, 27, was held Saturday at the Noble & Kelsey Funeral Home, 223 E. Fisher St.
A group was standing near the corner of Shaver and Fisher Streets following the funeral. Someone drove by and opened fire, striking one man, witnesses told WBTV, the Observer’s news partner.

Officers discovered Cruse’s body around 3:30 a.m. May 14 after a 2006 Chevrolet crashed into a wooden fence in the side yard of a home in the 200 block of N. Martin Luther King Ave. Cruse was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
