Woman arrested for attempted shooting in northwest Charlotte
A woman has been arrested for an attempted shooting in northwest Charlotte on Sunday night, police said.
Jessica Efird, 28, went to a residence in the 1000 block of Peachtree Road and began an altercation at around 10 p.m., according to police. During the fight, Efird brandished a firearm and attempted to shoot an unnamed victim, police said.
Efird, who was hurt during the fight, was eventually taken to Mecklenburg County Jail after being treated for injuries, police said.
