Police investigating shots fired in east Charlotte

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said they are investigating reports of shots fired Monday in the 1900 block of Allen Street in east Charlotte.

Officers said they discovered two homes struck by bullets when they responded at 5:37 p.m.

No people are known to have been injure, according to police.
