A motorcycle driver was in critical condition Saturday after a head-on collision on Long Branch Road in Salisbury.

The driver of the motorcycle, who has not been identified, was airlifted to Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.

The crash was reported around 2 p.m., according to WBTV, the Observer’s news partner.
