Man robbed, shot in north Charlotte

Charlotte Mecklenburg Police are searching for the person who robbed and shot a man in North Charlotte.

It happened on Burmith Avenue near the intersection of Statesville Road, according to WBTV, the Observer’s news partner.

Police say the robbery happened just after 10 Saturday night. The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries from the shooting.
