1 dead in Union County double shooting
A man is dead and a woman injured in a double shooting on Parkstone Drive in Indian Trail on Tuesday morning, the Union County Sheriff’s Office said.

The woman called 911 at 4:55 a.m. to say she had been shot, sheriff’s office spokesman Tony Underwood said outside the home.
The man was pronounced dead at a hospital, Underwood said.
At 8:30 a.m., sheriff’s deputies were waiting on a warrant to enter the home.
The home is on Parkstone Drive, off Fincher Road. Fincher Road runs between Waxhaw Indian Trail Road and Potter Road.
