Police are asking for the public’s help after five Charlotte area fast food restaurants have been robbed since June.

The latest happened at about 6:30 a.m. Sunday at the Bojangles’ in Brookdale Shopping Center on Stafford Road in Cabarrus County.

The others occurred in Charlotte: July 8 at Jimmy John’s in the 9100 block of Harris Corners Parkway; June 17 at Burger King in the 2900 block of South Boulevard and McDonald’s in the 8100 block of University City Boulevard; and June 13 at McDonald’s in the 6220 block of Monroe Road.

The same male appears to have been involved in all of the robberies, police said. The June 17 robberies also involved a second assailant.

Police released surveillance photos of the person they called the main suspect in the robberies. He wore all-black clothing.
