Townhouse destroyed in Mooresville fire

A Mooresville townhouse was destroyed by a fire Monday afternoon.

The fire started before 3 p.m. in the 600 block of South Main Street.

One of the units was completely destroyed and two other units were damaged in the 3-alarm fire, according to Mooresville fire chief. The blaze reportedly called for so much manpower because of how hot it was.

The fire chief could not comment on the cause of the fire.

No injuries were reported.
