CMPD investigates slaying of 25-year-old man
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police on Friday were continuing to hunt for whoever killed a 25-year-old Charlotte man Thursday near N. Tryon Street.
Police were called to the 100 block of Wadsworth Place at 5:06 p.m. Thursday and found a man with physical trauma. CMPD did not say how the person was injured.
The victim was taken to Carolinas Medical Center, where he died at 9:30 p.m., police said. They identified the victim as Andrew Thomas Dyles.
