Susan Wilson named principal of Hornets Nest Elementary, moving from Croft

Susan Wilson, principal of Croft Community School, will take over as head of Hornets Nest Elementary in January, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools announced Tuesday.

Wilson will replace Principal Victoria Hicks, who is retiring.

Hornets Nest is a north Charlotte neighborhood school with about 600 students. Ann Doss Helms
