Clayton Wilcox has taken on the city’s toughest job: superintendent of our public schools. You’ll have a chance to hear his vision at the Charlotte Observer’s Breakfast at SouthPark community event on Sept. 14. Wilcox will join CMS school board Chairwoman Mary McCray and District 5 Rep. Eric Davis on a panel moderated by the Observer’s schools reporter, Ann Doss Helms. The conversation will touch on:

▪ Wilcox’s goals and dreams for CMS.

▪ The recent student assignment plan.

▪ The upcoming $922 million school bond vote.
