MeckEd executive director to depart in June
The leader of one of the most prominent advocates for Charlotte public education said Thursday that he would be stepping down in June.
Bill Anderson, executive director of the nonprofit MeckEd, has led the organization since 2011. He will become a special assistant to the dean at UNC Charlotte’s College of Education. In that role, he will work on teacher and principal preparation as well as community relations, MeckEd said.
MeckEd will launch a search for Anderson’s successor.
