CMS graduations kick off Thursday
The first Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools high school graduation ceremonies kick off Thursday when students dual enrolled in community colleges cross the stage.
The district’s two middle college high schools – Levine and Cato – are scheduled to hold their commencement exercises at Ovens Auditorium off Independence Boulevard on Thursday afternoon. Both schools are on Central Piedmont Community College campuses and allow 11th- and 12th-grade students to take both high school and college classes.
Graduation ceremonies for traditional CMS high schools begin June 12. Most will be held at Bojangles’ Coliseum. A full schedule can be found here.
