NC virtual school holds info sessions in Matthews, Gastonia
North Carolina’s new virtual charter school will hold in-person information sessions in Matthews and Gastonia on Wednesday.
North Carolina Connections Academy, which opens this year, offers free online instruction to students in grades K-9 (higher grades will be added one year at a time). It can enroll up to 1,500 students statewide for 2015-16.
The Gastonia session is from noon to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, at the Courtyard Charlotte Gastonia, 1856 Remount Road.
The Matthews session is from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Express Matthews, 9420 E. Independence Expressway.
