Charlotte Post honors CMS Superintendent Ann Clark
The Charlotte Post Foundation has named Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools Superintendent Ann Clark as its 2015 educator of the year.
Clark, who has worked for CMS for 32 years in a variety of jobs, became superintendent in January.
Charlotte Post Publisher Gerald Johnson said he admires Clark’s work and cited their shared interest in making sure kids master reading in elementary school. “She’s at the heart of equity and inclusion in education. I admire her,” Johnson said.
Clark will be recognized at the Post Best banquet in October.
