Paramedics called for students after pepper spray used on Charlotte school bus
Paramedics tended to a bus of Charlotte middle schoolers after a child used pepper spray during a fight Tuesday morning, school officials wrote in an email to parents.
Paramedics evaluated students on Ranson International Baccalaureate Middle School bus #1692 “out of an abundance of caution,” the principal, Neodria Brown, wrote in the email.
None were hospitalized, WSOC, The Charlotte Observer’s news partner, reported.
“Weapons and disruptive behavior are prohibited in our schools and are a violation of the Code of Student Conduct,” Brown wrote.
Brown said the school is investigating the incident and asked parents to remind students about “appropriate behavior” and “consequences of their actions.”
This is a developing story.
