Will Charlotte-area schools still be closed Wednesday? A look at schedules and delays

After strong storms hit North Carolina on Tuesday, some school systems in the Charlotte area and the western part of the state will start classes later on Wednesday.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg schools, along with Cabarrus, Gaston, Union, Davis, Cleveland, Avery, Alexander and Caldwell county schools will all operate on a two-hour delay.

In Catawba County, there will be a two-hour delay at Foard, St. Stephens and Maiden feeder schools. Bunker Hill and Bandys feeder schools will be closed.

Anson County schools will also be closed on Wednesday.
