Want to teach? CMS is hiring at Saturday job fair

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools is holding a career fair for teachers and other certified faculty from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Park Expo and Conference Center, 800 Briar Creek Road.

Hiring managers from 160 schools will be there to talk to licensed teachers, counselors and media specialists. The event is not geared toward transfers within the district.

CMS employs more than 9,000 teachers, so the district is always searching for new hires.
