The iconic Oscar Mayer Wienermobile has arrived in Charlotte, but it won’t be here for long.

The Wienermobile will be parked outside Harris Teeter, 4701 Smith Farm Rd. today from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

The whopping wiener will also make an appearance at the Gingersnap 5K in Waxhaw, 202 W. South Main St., on Saturday from 7-10 a.m. Proceeds from the event will benefit Girls on the Run Union County, an organization that works to teach valuable life skills to young girls.

Fanatics who catch the frank can get Wienermobile merchandise, including shirts, hats and even Wiener Whistles.

If you miss the chance to see it, you can fill out an application on the Oscar Mayer website to have the Wienermobile appear at your next event.
