North Carolina is one of several states struggling the most to hire new workers, with a 6.9% job openings rate. But according to a recent survey from personal finance site Bankrate, half of U.S. workers plan to look for a new job in the next year.

Current labor data reveals what positions workers in the Charlotte area are most likely to hold.
