Blind man beaten to death with fire extinguisher in Tennessee parking garage, cops say

A 49-year-old blind homeless man was beaten to death with a fire extinguisher in downtown Nashville, Tennessee, police say.

Police arrested Brandon Brown, 32, on Monday morning just hours after the killing in a bus station parking garage, according to police.

Police said they originally went to the bus station at 2 a.m. to check on Brown, “who appeared to have been assaulted.”

He had a cut “above his eye and blood on his white sweater,” according to a police press release. He would not tell officers how he got hurt, police said. He was taken to a hospital to treat the wound, they said.
