Is house for sale in Oklahoma built for royalty or a ‘nerdy dream’? See for yourself
Looks like someone in Tulsa, Oklahoma, may have been obsessed with “Game of Thrones” reruns, and the inside of their house, which is on the market for $549,999, reflects it.
At least, that’s what fans on a popular social media real estate page are saying.
The three-bedroom, five-bathroom home’s interior decor is fit for royalty it seems, thanks to its regal furniture and apparent throne room in the entryway.
Other grand features of the 3,993-square-foot residence include:
Gourmet kitchen
Two-story foyer
Large windows
Saltwater swimming pool
Primary suite with fireplace
People eyeing the house on the Facebook page Zillow Gone Wild were both perplexed and intrigued by the furniture throughout the home.
“Alright. Let me be clear: I would 100% buy the home under the condition the throne room remained,” one person said. “I know I poke fun at some of these houses but this is like…a nerdy dream.”
“Picture it…Your daughter is dating a guy in high school. She brings him home to meet you and your spouse. You’re totally sitting on the thrones to welcome him,” another joked. “Capes, crowns, scepters, the whole thing.”
“I, too, binge-watched period dramas during the pandemic and forgot we live in the 21st century,” another commented. “Lucky for me I came to my senses before decorating my house ala ‘The Great.’”
“This house is having a serious existential crisis,” one person noted.
“It’s like if you crossed Kensington Palace with Red Roof Inn,” another said.
“After all that grandeur, you expect me to sit by the pool in a plastic chair?” one person asked.
“I feel like there was a missed opportunity with the bathroom ‘thrones,’” someone noticed.
“SOLD. But the furnishings must be included,” another said.
