AMC movie theaters are offering $5 tickets every Tuesday this summer for a limited time.

Discount Tuesdays are back at participating AMC locations nationwide, the national theater chain announced July 5.

The deal applies to all Tuesday showtimes for anyone enrolled in the AMC Stubs program, which is free to join, according to a news release. Fans can see most titles for $5 plus tax, though there’s an extra fee for premium movie formats including IMAX and Dolby Cinema.

Discounted tickets are available online and via third-party sites such as Fandango and Atom Tickets, according to AMC. Private screenings and other special events are excluded.

A night at the movies usually costs about $13 per adult ticket and $10 per children’s ticket, per the theater chain’s website.

Discount Tuesdays extends to the concessions stand where Stubs program members can purchase a $5 “Cameo Combo” featuring popcorn and a fountain drink, the release said. Fans can also pair their popcorn with a 21-ounce ICEE.

The deal is good through the end of October, and moviegoers must provide their rewards card, account number or email address at the time of purchase.

“Discount Tuesday at AMC was a favorite among moviegoers prior to the pandemic,” Eliot Hamlisch, executive vice president of AMC, said in a statement. “As millions of moviegoers are returning to AMC each week this summer, we want to ensure there are a variety of opportunities to find great value while seeing movies only available on the big screen at AMC theaters around the country.”
