Uninvited guest crashes wedding, sings to couple. It was Ed Sheeran, video shows
One couple’s dream came true after tying the knot in Las Vegas over the weekend with an added surprise bonus that neither of them expected.
Jordan and Carter Lindenfield were about ready to say their “I do’s” when singer Ed Sheeran made an appearance in the Little White Wedding Chapel on Sept. 9. Given the chapel was definitely not the venue the “Shape of You” musician was planning to sing in that evening, the look on the couple’s face when the artist walked in was priceless, a video posted on Instagram shows.
Along with a small choir, Sheeran serenaded the couple with the song “Magical” and even signed their marriage certificate as a witness.
The video was posted to the artist’s official Instagram page and fans couldn’t get enough of the emotional experience.
“It is seriously a dream of mine to have one of my favorite artists crash my wedding,” one person said in the comment section. “Now I just need a wedding for them to crash lol.”
“Ed is such a wonderful and talented human being!!” another gushed.
“An act of kindness goes such a long ways,” someone noted.
“No I am not crying,” one person commented. “Yes this is Magical moment I’ve ever seen. Every fan’s wish.”
Sheeran was supposed to perform at Allegiant Stadium on Sept. 9, but the show was postponed as a result of “logistical issues,” Fox 5 Vegas reported. The concert has been rescheduled for Oct. 28.
