Pizza Hut is trolling burger joints with its newest creation.

The new cheeseburger melt arrived Tuesday, May 14, at Pizza Hut restaurants nationwide, marking the latest iteration of the menu favorite, according to the Texas-based pizza chain.

A twist on the fast-food staple, the single-serve offering features two slices of Pizza Hut’s thin n’ crispy pizza folded and stuffed with ground beef, applewood-smoked bacon, onions, mozzarella and cheddar cheeses, the restaurant said in a news release.

It’s also also served with a special burger sauce for dipping.

“The savory, cheesy, crunchy menu item ditches the bun ... and brings together a medley of flavors for those craving a cheeseburger all wrapped into a crispy thin crust,” a product description reads.

The Pizza Hut Melts debuted in 2022 and are available in four other varieties:

  • Pepperoni lovers with marinara dipping sauce
  • Buffalo chicken with Buffalo and ranch dipping sauces
  • Chicken bacon Parmesan with ranch dipping sauce
  • Meat lovers with marinara dipping sauce

The cheeseburger melt is part of Pizza Hut’s new My Hut Box combo. For $6.99, pizza lovers can get either a melt or a two-topping personal pan pizza in addition to a side of boneless wings or fries, and a drink, the release said.

Dipping sauce is included.
