Five people were rescued after their boat was overtaken by a wave in Lake Erie, according to officials.

The U.S. Coast Guard found five people clinging to a cooler July 6, according to a social media post.

Their 22-foot boat was “swamped” by a wave, officials said.

The people were found about 10 miles off an Ohio shore after one of the boaters called 911 from the water.

The rescue was captured on video as each person was lifted into an aircraft one at a time.

All five people were taken to the Northeast Ohio Regional Airport with no medical concerns.
