Lottery ticket worth more than $100,000 sold at Florida Publix. Here’s where
A Florida lottery player is getting richer after buying a ticket worth more than $100,000.
The person tried their luck on a Fantasy 5 game ticket that matched all the numbers picked in the drawing late Monday, July 15, according to results posted on the Florida Lottery website.
The winning numbers: 7-11-25-31-32.
The lucky ticket was sold at the Publix grocery store at 13178 North Dale Mabry Highway in Tampa. The player used the Quick Pick option, meaning a lottery machine randomly chose at least some of the ticket numbers, lottery officials wrote online and in a news release.
The winner scored the prize on a “free ticket,” won after the player bought another ticket for the game.
“Players win cash prizes or a free Quick Pick ticket by matching two, three, or four of the numbers drawn in the official drawing for the date played,” the Florida Lottery wrote in a past news release.
As of midday July 16, the lottery’s website showed no one had claimed the prize worth $110,861.58. Florida gives lucky ticket holders about six months to cash in on drawing game prizes.
