Country music star and Grammy nominee Ingrid Andress has been relentlessly ridiculed after she performed the national anthem at the Home Run Derby on Monday.

On Tuesday she took to X, formerly Twitter, to explain that she was drunk during her performance.

“I’m not gonna [expletive] y’all, I was drunk last night. I’m checking myself into a facility today to get the help I need. That was not me last night. I apologize to MLB, all the fans and this country I love so much for that rendition,” said Andress.

Andress was born in Michigan but raised in Highlands Ranch, Colo., and attended Berklee College of Music before embarking on her singing career.
