Lucky casino player bets $3 on slot machine — then hits huge jackpot in Las Vegas
Many gamblers travel to Las Vegas with a secret hope they’ll win a big prize at a casino.
It became a reality for one lucky person when they hit a $25,013.40 jackpot.
The anonymous player sat at a Super Wheel Spin slot machine on Aug. 7 in the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino, the hotel said in a news release.
They placed a $3 bet and watched as the graphics aligned on the screen. Then a message appeared prompting the player to call an attendant.
They had hit the jackpot.
“Time to get that room upgrade now,” one person commented on Facebook.
Treasure Island is a pirate-themed hotel on the northern end of the Strip.
This isn’t the first jackpot win in Las Vegas this week.
On Aug. 3, a North Carolina man bet $12 on a Jewel of the Dragon Phoenix slot machine and won over $61,000, McClatchy News reported.
He was at the Rio Hotel & Casino.
